This is a 2-hour on-line Webinar designed to meet the required training necessary to evaluate California Earthquake damages. This class is a condensed version of our one-day classroom course, and is normally used to re-certify an existing Accreditation for the California Department of Insurance.
Attendees are instructed on how to download the Claims process and procedures of the CEA (California Earthquake Authority). They review Earthquake endorsements of both Residential and Commercial policies. Scoping, inspection and repair procedures along with the attic and crawl space sheets are introduced. They are instructed on when and when not to call an Engineer. Participants learn what their rolls are in both the California Earthquake Claims Mediation and FEMA programs.
Following the successful completion of this course, participants are awarded a Certificate reflecting this accomplishment. The Accreditation is valid for 3-years.
